Mini Fin Sin Fin

Malte Kebbel's central motif on his aluminum elements apparently consists of lines, waves, and repetitive, algorithmic strokes and forms. But the apparent motif is only the visible surface, because an infinite number of motifs are hidden beneath this surface. The installation of the Berlin artist resembles a 3D puzzle, which is composed of uniform, oval elements. Each element is printed with a repeating, light-sensitive and luminescent motif. The plug-in system uses the flat pieces to create a space-consuming, continuously continuing installation. A familiar principle that offers endless combination possibilities.

Double-sided, light-sensitive screen printing on CNC-milled Dibond elements, Smart LED light; 50 x elements; Each element: 315 x 240 x 3 mm; Installation: 300 × 50 × 100 cm
